Our mission is to empower local and global nutritional self reliance programs through collaborative fund raising initiatives to nourish and sustain people and improve quality of life.
 

We are a public charity of individuals and businesses organizations in the hospitality and special event industries committed to providing food, advanced nutritional education and dignity to all people in need.
 

We accomplish our mission by involving local/global businesses and communities as food donors, volunteers and financial supporters of local food banks and related agencies, collaborating with individuals & groups on programs that empower all people to meet their own nutritional needs, and communicating locally and globally with community leaders in support of universal food care for all people in need.

According to the Rhode Island Food Bank, recent statistical reports from 20 of RI’s largest food pantries indicate that more Rhode Island families are struggling to put food on the table and are seeking food assistance. Between January and April of this year, these pantries reported a 10% increase in the number of families served each month as compared with the same time period last year. Many of the families are seeking assistance for the first time.
